Trivia: Warner Bros. (through its New Line Cinema label) is distributing this film in North America while Paramount will distribute the film in most all other territories. Ironically (and coincidentally), the 1980 original was distributed by Paramount in North America, with international distribution being handled by Warner Bros.

What did everybody else think of this tear-jerker episode?

Personally, I thought it was the best of this season. It really solidified the fact that Matt Saracen is the best character in television right now. He has so much character depth, yet it never is forced, and everything he does seems so natural. Here in this episode we are shown some different sides of him, but they all make sense in context. Brilliant writing, really. I hope episodes like this help give the show wider exposure because it's up there with Sons of Anarchy as the best drama on TV right now and really should be getting more recognition.

Also, some good music choices in this one. I thought "Driveway" by Great Northern was the perfect song to use during the funeral processions. FNL the movie did a perfect job with its music, and I'm glad the show has great tunes, too.

I've been watching this other TV show, Bones. They have a psychologist on the team too. Except they can't seem to make up their minds if he's a therapist for the FBI or a profiler. I know a psychologist can be a profiler, but on CM besides Reid no one has a formal training as a psychologist. My question is how does this work at the FBI? Do their therapists also do consults on cases as profilers? Hotch saw a therapist after Mayhem who wasn't necessarily a profiler, but Rossi also mentions they wrote the questions on the eval.

Also, how long does the behavioural analysis training last in the FBI academy? And what does it entail? Is it focused on the criminal aspect or is it a bit more general?

I'm asking those of you who are studying for this, or who have done more research (and know where to look better than i do)?

edit: a bit of clarification

I did this once with Without a Trace and it can be a funny, crazy game to play.

What things will you never hear on Criminal Minds?

For example...

MORGAN: Hi, babygirl-
GARCIA: Okay, you call me babygirl one more time and I'm filing a complain for harrassement!!

HOTCH: Group hug!!
